Companies are involved in the life of the school
ENSEA offers many opportunities for companies to be in contact with the school and students.
There are corporate representatives of all sectors in electronics in the Board of Directors and the Development Board. They are also regularly invited to the Scientific Council.
Companies looking for engineering apprentices can offer 3-year apprenticeship contracts. The apprentice engineers follow a bi-weekly work-study program in the company and in the school. They look for their companies and sign a contract with them. They are supervised by both a company internship supervisor and an educational tutor.
The lessons are regularly enriched by educational interventions during the course by more than 180 temporary experts from the business world, and the students attend meetings where companies come to present their professions and activities.
The Business Expo takes place every year in November and brings together more than 1000 students from both ENSEA and SupMéca schools around more than 60 companies.
Privileged partnerships are set up in the form of sponsorship actions, support for the acquisition of labels (Handimanager, M/F Equality Manager,...), interview simulations, challenges proposed by the company (Défi H, Seeds for the Future,...)
The payment of the apprenticeship tax to the ENSEA allows to finance equipment for educational activities and teaching laboratories.
In terms of Research and innovation, partnerships are possible in the form of industrial chairs, CIFRE theses, responses to calls for projects, contracts and technology transfer support thanks to the technological platforms installed in research laboratories that concern on the one hand Intelligent Embedded Systems, on the other hand Acquisition, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, and finally green energies and the depollution of electricity networks.
Companies recruit ENSEA graduates
Each year, the 800 students at ENSEA must complete an internship that will be an added value for the student and the company. They are mandatory at all levels: 1-to-2-month internship from mid-June for first-year students, 4 months from mid-April for second-year students and 6 months in a final project from the end of January for final-year students. They are most often held internationally in the 2nd year. Internships can represent up to 12 months in a company during the three years of study.
