The French AMerican Exchange program is a Spring Semester Study Abroad program that was created in 2008 by Philippe Marc, between ENSEA and 2 American colleges: Illinois Institute of Technology and University at Buffalo.
Since then, other universities have joined us and send several students at ENSEA every year for an unforgettable spring semester ! ⤵
How does it work ? Students in their third year of an undergraduate program with a major in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science come to ENSEA to be taught by professors at ENSEA, in one of the top French Engineering Schools !
The best thing is that FAME is based on bilateral agreements with their home universities, meaning : no third party and a particularly attractive cost that allows students to travel across Europe during their vacations!
For ENSEA, FAME represents great opportunities to meet, exchange and increase language skills, both for our students and our staff!

Le programme FAME pour “French American Exchange Program”, est un programme d'échange international créé en 2008 par Philippe Marc, entre l’ENSEA et de prestigieuses universités américaines : Illinois Institute of Technology et University at Buffalo.
Depuis, d’autres établissements se sont joints à l’accord et nous envoient chaque année des étudiants pour un “spring semester” inoubliable !
Le principe ? Des étudiants Junior en “Electrical and Computer Engineering" ou "Computer Science” débarquent à l’ENSEA et bénéficient de l’enseignement d’experts, au sein d’une des meilleures écoles d’ingénieurs en électronique !
Le gros + du programme, c’est qu’il s’agit d’accords bilatéraux avec leur université d’origine. Autrement dit : pas de “third party” et, souvent, un coût particulièrement attractif qui permet aux étudiants de voyager à travers l’Europe pendant leurs vacances !
Du côté de l’ENSEA, FAME représente de formidables opportunités de rencontres, d'échanges et de montées en compétence linguistique, tant pour nos étudiants que pour nos collaborateurs !

En avril, l’équipe des Relations Internationales de University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign nous a rendu visite ! L’occasion d'échanger sur les possibilités d'extension de notre partenariat et de rencontrer leurs étudiants actuellement à l’ENSEA dans le cadre du programme FAME.
